Project Summary:
The new development of Eight number 1 bedroom apartments were have been designed for individuals with learning difficulties and include for 24/7 staff accommodation/office to promote assisted living.

Successfully handed over to Independent Housing UK LTD and Swanton Care & Community at the start of 2022 following a 12 month build program.

Building Control and Latent Defect Auditing

• Former past mining area with shallow mining issues with ground full remediated as part of Building Control Approval
• Piled foundations with ground beams and rendered block skin to timber frame structure
• Highly energy efficient scheme with electric heat pumps, underfloor heating and MVHR. Apartments have A rated Energy Performance Certificates.
• Fire strategy adapted for assisted living with Delayed Evacuation with support from staff
