The Governments flagship Building Safety Bill received royal assent on 28th April and is set to become law. Aimed at providing a generational change in the construction industry to improve health and safety of residential buildings, it will also have a profound effect on how Building Control Bodies operate with the introduction of the Building Safety Regulator as part of the Health & Safety Executive to enforce regulatory regime for residential buildings over 18m in height, and ensuring competence for both building control bodies and individuals working in the building control profession.

Congratulations to our Building Control Surveyor Luckmaan Yaseen on gaining his NVQ6 diploma in Building Control.
Luckmaan is the first of many going down this route as part of our structured training program to upskill all our surveyors in the coming years.
Luckmaan’s next step in his career is to gain full professional membership with CABE and becoming a role model to our other assistant surveyors who hope to follow in his rather snazzy footsteps.

Rich in features, the site incorporates a dedicated ‘Client Portal’, a secure hub which allows users to easily upload applications, plans and drawings for ease of use to manage quotes and the subsequent progress and status of projects online.
The site has been specifically designed to provide users with an interactive, user-friendly experience and features a fresh, innovative design, clear navigation, and was created with the end user’s experience in mind using the latest technology to ensure compatibility with current browsers and mobile devices.
