An important part of the Building Regulation Approval process for any new domestic/non domestic build is to comply with Part L: Conservation of Fuel and Power.
Meridian employs accredited domestic and non domestic energy assessors to provide SAP calculations and SBEM calculations to help our clients comply with the ever more complex requirements. Our Assessors will provide detailed and constructive advice on compliance issues and help with bot the design and construction teams in fulfilling their obligations – they will also liaise with the Building Control process to provide a seamless and joined up approach.
We can also provide Energy Performance Certificates on both new build and existing domestic and commercial premises.
Upon completion of any new dwelling or commercial premise , there may be a requirement to carry out a number of on site tests including air tightness testing of the building fabric, sound testing of party walls and floors, and flow rate testing of mechanical ventilation systems. Meridian can offer a nationwide service utilising both in house and external consultants to provide these services.
Meridian can organise a number of additional services through a Nationwide arrangement with preferred partners including BREEAM Assessments, Thermal Modelling, Daylight Calculations, Thermographic Surveys, and Drone Camera Surveys.
