Project Summary:
Established in 1997, G-TEM is a world-class manufacturer of high-quality automotive pressings and sub-assemblies whose rapid growth meant a new press and welding factory was commissioned to be built on a 3-hectare site.

Working closely with the D&B provider TAKENAKA (Europe), Meridian Consult provided Building Control Services for the build.

Services Used:
Building Control

• Excessive travel distances to production area agreed and approved using Fire Engineering principles, including negotiation and agreement with Local Fire Service.
• Plan appraisal and approval undertaken within 5 days of submission.
• Extensive site inspection programme with reports issued to D&B Contractor on day of inspection.
• Diversion of Existing Sewer across site with agreement with Local Water Authority.
