Air Pressure Testing

Under Part L of the Building Regulations, new build dwellings and commerical premises need to be tested for air tightness in order to restrict uncontrolled movement of air into and out of a building which can account for substantial energy losses.

Meridian Consult Ltd are approved by BINDT to carry out air pressure testing services applying ATTMA TS1 standards using UKAS calibrated equipment.  The air leakage is measured through a door blower fan system which along with other UKAS calibrated equipment gives the Air permeability.
