1/10//08: Energy Certificates

The last part of the phased introduction for Energy Performance Certificates came into force today with  the requirement for energy certificates to be provided when any commercial building, irrespective of size, is either  constructed, sold or rented .  Public buildings over 1000m2 will require a dispay energy certificate. 

23/7/08: Energy Efficiency Requirements for New Dwellings

This pamphlet outlines the issues that will need to be addressed in the forthcoming review of the Building Regulations energy efficiency requirements (Part L). It gives an indication of the issues that will need to be considered in developing proposals for the significantly higher standards that will be necessary, and illustrations of the sorts of building specifications that might be adopted in order to meet them.
