Fire Safety Order 2005
The Regulations invoke a Statutory duty on employers/responsible persons to undertake and continually review a fire risk assessment on commercial and many residential premises within their control. The fire risk assessment should identify the risks that are present in the building and then consider whether these risks should be eliminated, reduced, or accepted.
